The Spirit of Sovereignty Foundation is a non-profit organization created by its parent entity, the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), to reward the educational goals of exceptional Native-American students.

Started in 2000, the Foundation has awarded eleven scholarships to date to both undergraduate and graduate students. The organization is committed to generating scholarship funds, and welcome contributions of both time and money.
