| Appropriately
named "Spirit of Sovereignty", the Foundation closely
follows the NIGA mission to "advance the lives of Indian
peoples- economically, socially, and politically." |
|
 |
| The
primary purpose of the scholarship is to encourage Native American
communities to increase education and self-sufficiency among
their peoples and to reward self-determination in students. |
